Statement of Faith (the specifics)
We believe the Bible is the Word of God.
We believe it is fully and completely inspired by God and has the
ability to lead, direct and guide our lives on a daily basis.
We believe that there is a God, and that He has a purpose and a
plan for each of us and that He has outlined this plan in His
sacred and holy book
We believe that He has sent His Holy Spirit to come and guide us
and fill us with power.
We believe in the power of prayer, and the importance of
worship.
We believe that through His Holy Spirit, He will reveal His plan
to us and He will come and personally guide us into a closer and
intimate relationship with Him.
Purpose (the why)
Underground Youth exists to lead youth into the will and plan that God has for their life so that they may grow to become lifelong Christian leaders. (Disciples)
Vision (the future)
Our vision is to see generations of leaders in the Parkland County area living holy and devoted lives before God, as well as actively leading others around them closer to God and His plan for them.
Mission Statement (the what)
The purpose of Underground Youth is to be a community of fun and faith. We are committed to providing a Christ centered, bible-based environment for youth to enter into authentic relationships with each other and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We will do this through:
- Interactive Activities focused primarily on relationships and
fun
- Youth Activity Nights
- Bible-Focused Small Groups to Focus Relationships on God's
Purposes
- 5-10 Min Bible Studies
- Interactive Games
- Spirit Filled and Bible Anchored Services
- Pre-service Prayer times
- Intimate and Engaging Worship
- Bible Centered Preaching
- Prayer soaked Altar Times
- Individual Attention from Leadership
- Scheduled, Individual, Focused Intercessory Prayer for each Youth
- Individual/Small Group Get-togethers (coffee, etc)
